    DELHI-JAIPUR-CHITTAURGARH-UDAIPUR-SAWAI MADHOPUR-JAISALMER-JODHPUR-BHARATPUR-AGRA-DELHI.

Luxury beded accommodation with comfortable lower sleeping beds. One upper bunk in each cabin, for extra bed required by a family or group of three. Each saloon has modern toilets with running hot / cold water facilities , a small lounge and kitchenette in every saloon. Dining cars offering Continental and Indian Cuisine. Lounge cum observation Car with a Bar cum Library. Sound system for announcements and music in every saloon. Foreign exchange accepted for payment of bills. Laundry service at Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur. Every saloon has a personal attendant attired in traditional Rajasthani hospitality, to take care of each guest. The touch of personal warmth and hospitality as you will discover, is a usual way of life in India and Rajsthan in particular.


Day 1: Report at Delhi Cantt. Railway Station at 1630 hrs to board luxury train tour and depart by 1800 hrs
Day 2: Morning visit 17th century palace fort of Amer on elephant back. visit to the18th century Pink City of Jaipur. Lunch at the19th century Rambagh Palace Hotel, visit City Palace and Museum. Depart for Jaisalmer by 1700 hrs.
Day 3: Visit the 12th century fort town of Jaisalmer. Drive to sun and sand dunes for camel ride followed by cultural show and dinner. Depart for Jodhpur at 2300 hrs.
Day 4: Visit 16th century Meharangarh Fort Palace. Lunch at early 20th century Umaid Bhawan Palace. Depart for Sawai Madhavpur at 1600 hrs.
Day 5: Visit Ranthambhore Tiger Sanctuary. Depart for Chittorgarh at 1030 hrs. Visit ruins  Chitttorgarh Fort.
Day 6: Visit to 16th century Lake City of Udaipur. Lunch at 19th century Lake Palace Hotel - Move to Bharatpur at 2000 hrs
Day 7: Visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, followed by 16th century deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon visit to 17th century Taj Mahal, Depart for Delhi at 2100 hrs.
Day 8: Arrival in Delhi by 0500 hrs. breakfast on board. Move to next destination.

The tour commences every Wednesday evening and concludes on the next Wednesday morning at Delhi Cantt. Railway station. A typical tour is 7 nights / 8 days. The cost above is for ONE night per person aboard Palace On Wheels. Half fare for children between 5 and 12 years of age

Bookings:  30% at the time of booking  /  70% 60 days prior to departure. 

Cancellations : 30% more than 60 days prior to departure.   / 50% between 45-60 days before departure   /                                100 %  Within 45 days before departure

Tariff is inclusive of cost of travel, full catering (morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner), conducted sightseeing tours in deluxe coaches, entrance fee for monuments, palaces cultural entertainment at Jaipur and Jaiselmer  and boat ride to and fro Lake Palace Hotel at Udaipur, Elephant ride at Jaipur, Camel ride at Jaiselmer and Rikshaw ride at Bharatpur. 

Note: Tariff does not include liquor, laundry and other items of personal nature and video camera charges for entry into Parks and monuments.
